BasicDatePicker.ClientTarget Property

Determines how BasicDatePicker should render to various browsers.

[Visual Basic]
Public Property ClientTarget As ClientTarget
[C#]
public ClientTarget ClientTarget {get; set;}

Property Value

One of the ClientTarget enumeration values. Options include: Auto, DownLevel, UpLevel. Default value is Auto

Remarks

Use the ClientTarget property to specify how the BasicDatePicker should render in different browsers. If ClientTarget is DownLevel, then BasicDatePicker control will render as TextBox only.

The ClientTarget property could be used to force BasicDatePicker to always render in UpLevel mode. The following is a list browsers that BasicDatePicker recognizes as UpLevel.

Browser TargetLevel (UpLevel)
Internet Explorer (Windows) >= 5.0
Internet Explorer (Mac) >= 5.2
Netscape (Win and Mac) > 5.0
Opera (Win and Mac) > 6.0
Firefox (Win and Mac) >= 0.9
Safari All versions
